How does the sync work?+
Idukki polls the official Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads and YouTube APIs on a 6-hour cadence (or webhooks where available). New posts that match your profile, mentions or hashtag rules flow into the Idukki moderation queue, with the rights flow auto-fired on first contact.
Does it work with private Instagram accounts?+
No — we only sync from public posts, public hashtag streams and posts where you’ve authenticated the source profile. This keeps Idukki on the right side of platform ToS and GDPR. Private DMs and stories require explicit creator opt-in.
How fast do new posts appear?+
Within 6 hours of publication for most sources. Profile sync on connected accounts uses webhooks where supported, surfacing posts in under 15 minutes. Hashtag streams batch every 6 hours to respect platform rate limits.
Can I filter what gets imported?+
Yes — every sync source supports filters: language, country, follower count, content type (post / reel / story), keyword include + exclude, and an AI brand-safety score threshold. Posts that fail filters never enter your library.
