The challenge

Yotpo’s contract was renewing with mandatory feature bundles Cove didn’t use. The team was nervous about losing 8,400 reviews and the SEO juice attached to them.

What we did

  • 1Used the Idukki Yotpo adapter to import all reviews + UGC, preserving review IDs (so Google rich-result eligibility transferred).
  • 2Ran the new Idukki widget in shadow mode for 48 hours alongside the old Yotpo embed.
  • 3Cut over on a Sunday at 04:00 UTC — Monday morning all PDPs served the new widget with the same review counts.
